An extreme sports TV show (Xtrem Limit) challenges it’s contestants to undergo different tasks set to push one’s limits and endurance. They bring in a French actor at the behest of their boss who has the advertisers breathing down his neck for something unique. The show finally becomes interesting when the stars get trapped in the catacombs of a castle after a bad storm hits. They start hearing disquieting screeches from somewhere in the ruins of the castle but they can’t flee due to the worsening storm. They eventually discover a sword-wielding lunatic calls the grounds home and fancies himself a servant of the lord. Folks get killed, a couple girls are found chained up in a dungeon and the ending just kind of keeps going. It’s all capably handled but doesn’t really bring anything entertaining to the party.
