An accomplished miniature artist is commissioned by a local police department to recreate a grisly crime scene and her exceptional talents manage to complete a ritual, bringing something awful into our reality. Bad news for her disapproving boyfriend and, eventually, for the young woman who unknowingly unleashed evil. Eight minutes honestly feels like thirty seconds in this excellent short slice of the macabre. It’s an intriguing idea featuring a pretty simple but very cool threat and all conducted under the steady hand of Ryan Valdez. Check it out.
