Final entry in the Universal Invisible Man series finds a homicidal maniac on the run from the law and looking to get a piece of his fair share from the now wealthy folks he went on a diamond mining excavation with but whom left him for dead after a head injury. When his agreement papers are stolen and he is drugged by the couple, he has no claim and is run out of town. This brings him to the doorstep of a reclusive doctor (John Carradine) who just so happens to be experimenting with an invisibility formula. Lacking other options, the man agrees to be his guineapig and when the formula works, he decides it’s time to get some revenge. Eventually he wishes to get his form back but that’s going to require a fatal amount of human blood. Unfortunately, the invisible psycho doesn’t have any qualms about taking more lives. Evelyn Ankers shows up as the rich couple’s daughter and a romantic obsession for the vanished mad man. A ‘comedic” interlude that goes on forever and a plot lacking a pulse damages this otherwise fun final entry.
