Welcome to Spring Break

aka Nightmare Beach

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Diablo, a motorcycle gang leader, is executed as he claims his innocence and promises revenge. As if Florida wasn’t awful enough, a helmeted biker begins murdering the spring breakers spending their free time partying in America’s wang. The grave of the recently executed biker is disturbed and his corpse goes missing. Could it be that his promises of supernatural revenge have come true? Cop John Saxon and doctor Michael Parks are looking into it. Dumbass tomfoolery, prostitution, thievery, football, wet t-shirts, alcohol, government coverups and a concerned minister bring the Floridian familiarity to the proceedings. A college football failure and the sister of the woman Diablo supposedly murdered team up (and fall in love, naturally) after the QB’s buddy goes missing (he’s actually been burnt to a crisp thanks to our psycho biker’s electrified death-motorcycle). Diablo’s biker gang causes trouble, a pervy hotel manager creeps around getting his peek on and John Saxon ends up being a kinky sadomasochist. As usual, they’re all red herrings until they end up murdered. Umberto Lenzi gets his accomplished stank over the slasher genre and I could not be happier. The template may be more than a little familiar but there’s so much oddness and stupidity going on it’s hard not to like.
