Woefully unprepared for anything, a crew of YouTuber wannabe celebrities journey out into the wilderness to catch proof of the paranormal and gain views. The obnoxious host drags his tiny team deep into some infamous woods where Ol’ Mothy Boy has supposedly been encountered recently. They come across a cranky paranormal professional that tries to get them to bugger off but agrees to share information with them when they lie their asses off and tell him they’re serious documentary filmmakers. After seeing the flying thing in the poorly-rendered cgi flesh, the group comes to their well-deserved downfall. Someday I’ll get my found-footage-straight-up-Mothman-monster-mash-fun I’m craving, today was not that day.
