Bud and Lou are back and they’ve bumbled into plenty of trouble once again. A dead professor and the accidental acquisition of a sacred medallion have the duo on the run from a sultry treasure seeker, an Egyptian cult and a living mummy. The jokes fly fast and there’s a welcome return of hilarious wordplay and dialogue sorely lacking from the prior two entries. It’s nowhere near as good as Meet Frankenstein or Karloff but, come on, that’s a high bar to hit. Genuine laughs and a fun time await.
