A nervous mob end a small Irish village’s banshee-induced problem five decades ago. Granted, almost all of the men who set out to fix things ended up dead but there was at least one survivor who was busy burying a Ouija board when the confrontation took place. A spooky entity shrieking loudly and knocking off locals is enough to make any man drink more Guinness than usual. In the present, the wailing scourge is back and all that’s standing in her way is a demon hunter and his frustrated protégé. Some teenage girls dug up the spirit board their papa buried all them years ago and he knows the awfulness is about to begin anew, forcing his daughters and wife to get the hell out of the area while they still can. He hires the demon hunter (the man has left flyers out) to take care of things before it’s too late... it’s probably already too late. A pretty fun short could use a bit more time to breathe and showcase its pretty cool looking threat. A solid way to spend twenty minutes.
