Shit hits the fan right-quick for two good looking American girls when they follow a cute anthropologist to Jerusalem instead of their planned Tel Aviv destination. Horrible luck puts them at ground zero for the biblical apocalypse and a small group of people attempt to escape the ancient city. Dark angels, possessed lunatics, the living dead and complete chaos keeps our characters in harm’s way. Aided immensely by Jerusalem’s natural beauty and a near perfect conveyance of the “stranger in a strange land” scenario, this found footage (smart glasses being the main equipment catching the action) flick works more than it should. There is some iffy acting and convoluted set ups but, luckily, Jeruzalem succeeds way more than it fails.
